I have terribly muscular calves (years of ballet and genes too) thus I shopped around on-line for a protracted time to search out a try of wellies that will re-evaluate my calves with house to tuck in jeans. These are perfect! they are adjustable thus if you're blessed with skinny legs, they will match simply fine too. The shoe of the boot was a bit additional slender than I expected. I wear a 8.5 and that i bought the boots in nine. They match simply fine however i am unable to imagine sporting extremely thick, heat socks with them. If you would like to wear thick socks, go an additional size up. Of course, like all wellies they smell a bit bit initially. however if you simply set them next to an open window for some days, the rubber odor goes away. i actually love these boots. they are subtle and straightforward however terribly fun to wear! I've received plenty of compliments already. =]

I have worn these boots approximately five times. Overall they match well on the foot, to a small degree wide on the ankle, and excellent on my calf. I wore them these days with the thought that they might keep my feet dry from the snow, puddles, and dirty snow left in NYC once the blizzard. i used to be highly disappointed that in walking an entire block my left foot felt wet. The shoes apparently have allowed water to seep in and wet my foot. i'm reaching to write a letter of grievance to the corporate and hope
