Love these boots. Some reviews elsewhere have commented that it will be troublesome to get rid of the boots- not in the slightest degree, simply use toes of 1 foot to heel of the opposite (ie do not try and accomplish together with your hands). they're cosy compared to different rain boots- in a very great way. Fits sort of a shoe, still space for a thinner wool sock, terribly nice insole padding and support. i buy many compliments. Fits my skinny calves nicely however there is space for jeans to tuck in. There looks to be space to expand the shaft, too, if needed. terribly cute & skilled, utterly waterproof, sensible traction. the sole con is that there's a small rubber smell that I notice still when it's heat. very little annoying however in all probability inevitable. Stop debating, undoubtedly get these! you will be happy.

Update 3/16/11:
The size eight did indeed work higher, however the realm round the ankles is extraordinarily stiff. i made a decision it absolutely was worthwhile to interrupt within the boots since they're therefore cute, and figured the stiffness meant the rubber was thick. quick forward some months, and once one season of traditional wear and tear, there's an enormous rip within the rubber of 1 of the boots along the highest of the rubber shoe portion! i am unable to believe it! My last rain boots lasted for three years--these lasted four months!!!
